Today I lost my best friend,  the one I loved so much.  The times we shared,  and hopes we beard  still seem to linger on.

I'm misunderstood because  nobody tries to understand.

Fly AwayFly Away   
 
When I fly away to a land so afar away, I can see my sorrows fall behind and I shed my weary skin.   
I fly away to a land of dreams and hopes so true. They are mine, some may never come true. The ones I can achieve, I strive for. The ones I can't, I live out in the corners of my mind.   
They are so clear and close, yet far away, I hold to them. They are my sanctuary from reality. They can be changes and re-done to make them right, life is not that way.   
As I fly away, I see the faces of the sad and lost sinking down and only the beautiful remains.

Yes, I'm done school! That means more time for art!

Now, the catch is I have a lot of video games I want to catch up on. Art, gaming and my boyfriend have to share my free time, which is limited by my summer job. Lame I know. I do plan to do more art, and more experiments with new techniques and software.

You can expect to see the 100 Kimono's picture finished for sure this summer, as well as a foray in to some 3d character design. You can also expect to see a lot of my experiments taking place on the same subject matter. This summer is going to be about my growth as an artist, no necessarily growth of my gallery.

You can also expect to see many of the experiments performed on the line-arts of others. Why? Because I'm a short-sighted perfectionist. If my starting point isn't great, I will blame it for ALL the bad in the picture, and not be able to objectively evaluate the technique I've used. I hope that by the end of the process, I'll be moving past this defect in my personality.

Lol, it is hard to get used to, but it's really worth it. The best investment I made was my tablet. It made working on the computer easier (more like just drawing). The big advantage of the computer is being able to undo mistakes you make so you get a lot more freedom.

You can get trial versions of all the software to test them out too which is super handy so you know what you want.
